Firefighters team up to save Huon

The Snug Volunteer Fire Brigade’s Nathan Dowling, leading firefighter, and Kelsey Wigg, firefighter have been working on the Riveaux Road, Southwest fire which has been impacting communities over the last few weeks, going from watch and act warnings to emergency levels.
21 fires were actively burning on Sunday, February 3, with a total burnt area of 191,000 hectares to date. (PS)
