Kingborough gymnasts qualified for selection

A Tasmanian State Team Qualifying event for trampoline and tumbling were held at the Kingborough Sports Centre during the weekend of February 23 and 24. 

There are two more qualifying events, including the Tasmanian State Championships in April before the team is selected and announced.
Gymnasts who obtained qualification scores:
Senior International:
Damien Axelsen (men’s double-mini)
Matthew French (men’s double-mini)
Jacob Smith (men’s tumbling)
Junior International Under 22:
Matthew French (men’s trampoline)
Eddy Rand (men’s trampoline/men’s double-mini)
Patrick Schluter (men’s trampoline)
Junior International Under 17:
Flynn Caro (men’s trampoline/men’s double-mini)
Amber French (women’s trampoline/women’s double-mini)
Axel Murden (men’s trampoline/men’s double-mini)
Freya Pennington (women’s tumbling)
Luan Smit (men’s trampoline)
Youth International Under 15:
Wing Wai Brown (men’s tumbling)
Dylan Crack (men’s trampoline)
Joseph Creen (men’s trampoline)
Billy French (men’s trampoline/men’s double-mini)
Nicholas Kerr (men’s trampoline/men’s double-mini)
Youth International Under 13:
Daisy Tunstall (women’s tumbling)
Rohan Wilcox (men’s trampoline/men’s double-mini
National Levels:
Cara Berry (Level 6 trampoline)
India Blackhall (Level 6 trampoline)
Tala Castro Sherrin (Level 7 double-mini)
Amber Darrick (Level 6 trampoline/Level 6 double-mini)
Sam Leary (Level 5 tumbling)
River Mallam (Level 6 double-mini)
James Sonneveld (Level 7 trampoline)

Pictured, Gymnasts competed for the chance to qualify for the State Team that will represent Tasmania at the 2019 Australian Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne in June.
