Snug last weekend was inundated scouts who attended the 56th Scout/Guide Regatta with nearly a thousand participants from as close as North West Bay and as far away as Smithton.
There were 2500 individual and/or team entries for the activities over the three days.
The regatta provides an opportunity to engage in a variety of activities not usually available under expert supervision.
From sleeping in a tent, the Snug Oval was covered in many, to sailing, kayaking and other water-based activities, made up part of the experience.
There were also land based activities such as gumboot throwing, three-legged races and tugs of war, just to name a few.
Each group or unit receives a certificate with all the activities listed that the individuals participated in.
The idea is to improve their skills base and range of activities from the previous year.
Everyone had a fantastic time over the weekend.
