In a year where the Tigers performance has stamped the club as a legitimate contender in the SFL by delivering the most wins in the club’s history, three key players, Lachie Clifford, Will Campbell and Sam Duigan, have all recommitted for the next two years.
The announcement came during the lead-up to the 2021 TSL finals series from Tigers Football Director, Ben Harrison, and the re-signing of Clifford, Campbell and Duigan will see the players as a driving force at Tigerland at least until the end of the 2023 season.
All three players have been significant contributors in the current season and have filled leadership roles in 2021 with Lachie Clifford (Captain), Will Campbell (Vice-Captain) and Sam Duigan (Deputy Vice-Captain).
Tigers Coach Trent Baumeler reflected on the announcement.

“These three men have all shown amazing leadership and commitment to the football club and have set the platform for continued growth of our environment both on and off the field,” Mr Baumeler commented.
The Tigers enjoyed a well-earned break in the final TSL Round of home and away games with a bye last weekend as they continue to prepare for the first week of the TSL finals series.
On top of this announcement Mr Harrison said “You can certainly feel a buzz in the air in Tigerland at the moment and the week to come will deliver more exciting announcements in the lead up to the Elimination Final clash against Clarence.”
