The Longley Bunyips (5-299) played against the Kettering Mariners (233) at Sandfly Memorial Oval in the Huon Channel Cricket Association competition on Saturday, December 12. Pictured Chris Bowles on his way to 10-not-out with a strike rate of 200.00 at the tail end of the Bunyips innings. Solid batting from Longley’s Jake Barry (90), Jordan Lovell (51), Bryce Turnbull (58) and Tom Bevan (46) put the Bunyips in a commanding position. A further 3-for-34 by Jake Barry and 3-for-31 by Bryce Turnbull made life difficult for the Mariners on the day.
