Keen on some morning yoga, brunch and a market to helping fundraise for a fantastic cause?

Proud aunty, Carly Coleman, has reached out to the Kingborough Chronicle regarding a fundraiser being held for her very special, seven-year-old niece, Roxy.
“Roxy has a brain malformation called Lissencephaly,” said Carly.
“This comes with a range of other diagnoses including cerebral palsy and epilepsy.”
Despite these struggles, Carly notes Roxy is “a bright, happy girl who loves being outside and surrounded by nature and loves to get her hands dirty in the garden”.
“She is a social butterfly and will always choose to be involved with what the people around her are doing,” said Carly.
“Roxy loves music and to dance and move with support.”
“The Make-A-Wish team have granted her a wish to come and give her a place to garden, rest and play in her own backyard but before they can come in, the backyard needs to be landscaped to be flat and accessible.”
“That’s where we need your help and the fundraising comes in,” Carly added.
The fundraiser aims to raise $12,000 for landscaping works for a sensory rainbow garden.
“[The yoga] class will be run by Bianca from Shaanti Yoga Tasmania, with morning tea provided,” noted Carly.
“Tickets are $30 per person, BYO yoga mat.”
Roxy’s fundraiser will be held at 9am on Sunday, May 29 at Brookfield Shed in Margate.
