Kingston Christian Reformed Church recently opened the Lantern Centre to members of the public with a Family Fun Day.
“After a culmination of 18 months of works, it’s been wonderful to see so many people enjoying our new facility,” Pastor Graham Sayer said.
Approximately 800 people attended the Family Fun Day held on Saturday, August 19.
Guests enjoyed sausages, hot dogs, mini pancakes, fairy floss, jelly cups and dumplings.
Children enjoyed a variety of activities including laser skirmish, basketball, face painting and a scavenger hunt.
The opening celebrations continue this week with more exciting events and activities at the centre.
