Kingston Primary School officially opened their new playground on Thursday, December 7.
Participants from the Aladdin play wrote a song that they performed for the opening titled “A whole new playground.”
The playground includes a sandpit, slide, cubby house, climbing wall and water feature.
Students made the bunting to decorate the stage area for the opening.
The site for the playground, a hill behind the school, was a concern initially but the teachers and students agree that the new playground is a huge success.
Prep students May and Anaika cut the ribbon, officially opening the playground.
There was a free school community barbecue after the ribbon was cut.
