Alexander Hale from Tinderbox recently competed in the Melbourne Fitness Expo from April 13 to 14 and won the Physique Overall Champion, placing first in Physique Rookie, first in Physique Open and fourth in Fitness Rookie.
Alexander has only been training seriously since December 2023, and decided to compete recently after encouragement from his coach Boris from Planet Max.
Alexander trains five times a week, eats a strict diet and has also set a side goal of doing the 75 Hard Challenge.
This challenge encourages participants to complete two 45-minute workouts each day for 75 days, as well as maintaining a structured, alcohol-free diet and reading at least 10 pages of a book each day.
On April 20, Alexander travelled to Launceston to compete in the Natural Body Building Oceania Qualifier held at the Launceston Conference Centre and will travel back to Melbourne and Sydney in the coming weeks to compete in more national competitions.
