Batchelor Group (BG) in Kingston is showing off the colours of their ongoing support for mental health and breast cancer awareness.
BG has painted two of their trucks, one a vibrant blue for the SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY campaign and another in hot pink in recognition of the pink ribbon that is the universal symbol of breast cancer.
“With our trucks moving around the state, it presented the perfect opportunity to promote causes close to our company’s ethos,” Director Adam Batchelor said.
“Mental health challenges and breast cancer affect many individuals and families in our community, and if our efforts can facilitate access to support and raise awareness, we will consider it a significant achievement.”
The BG team has also kickstarted a ‘pink shirt Friday’ initiative, encouraging each other to don hot pink hi-vis in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.
SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY founder Mitch McPherson said the Stay ChatTY logo is a prominent reminder to check in regularly on yourself and those around you.
“We are really proud and grateful to see BG use our logo as this reminder for both their staff, as well as those in the community that will lay eyes on it,” he said.
The two trucks will serve as moving billboards, sparking conversations and encouraging individuals to reach out.
