Kingborough Council’s Home Made competition had nearly 30 young creatives enter their high-quality works from across Kingborough.

“It was a privilege to judge all the creative and innovative submissions to the Home Made competition,” said Deputy Mayor of Kingborough, Cr Jo Westwood, who had the difficult task of choosing which submissions would receive prizes.

“All the entries were of such a high standard that I found it very difficult to pick just a few.

“Congratulations to everyone who entered, there is so much talent in our young people.

“Our future is in good hands.”

The following entrants were awarded Highly Commended prizes for the competition.

Another competition open to Kingborough residents is ‘Images of Isolation’, which is open to all ages until May 22.

Capture a personalised interpretation of living in isolation in Kingborough in the form of a photograph.

Phone, camera and tablet photos are accepted in three age categories: child (7-12 years), teen (13-19 years) and adult, with multiple prizes available.
