Blackmans Bay Primary School students Torben Pederson and Alice Daziel received a book authored by Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, as an acknowledgement of their work on the theme of ‘Peace Begins With Me’. The book, titled Malala’s Magic Pencil, was presented by Independent Member for Nelson, the Honourable Meg Webb MLC (pictured right) with the school’s principal Ms Della Wells (pictured left), on Tuesday, December 15. Works on the theme of ‘Peace Begins With Me’ by Blackmans Bay Primary School students Torben Pederson, Alice Daziel and Amelia Snodin are on display in the Kingston office of Independent Member for Nelson, the Honourable Meg Webb MLC. The work provides a timely message of peace.
