Kingston knocks out tournament

On Saturday night, June 1 three local boxers represented the Kingston Boxing Club at Team Woods Boxing Gym's inaugural Latrobe Boxing Tournament.
The Latrobe Memorial Hall was packed with a massive crowd to witness a night of great bouts.
15-year-old Chiwoo Lim debuted his first fight, putting on a skilful boxing display.
Despite being defeated by the narrowest of margins by a boxer with previous fight experience, Chiwoo was awarded the trophy for best junior boxer of the night.
Andrew Bellchambers, son of club legend Paul Bellchambers, returned to the ring after an eight-year break.
Andrew scored an impressive win over a tough opponent.
Super heavyweight Jade Kallend fought in the main event against talented Latrobe boxer, Max Chakau, and in a great display by both fighters across the three rounds the win was awarded to Max.
