North West Bay Scouts recently spent four days at Cradle Mountain, covering nearly 60 kilometres of tracks.
The scouts explored such tracks as Lake Rodway, Hansons Peak, Dove Lake Circuit and Marions Lookout.
For some, it was the first time in the national park and for others, a repeat visit.
"We experienced a mixture of weather with one very wet day resulting in some terrific walking in the mist and low clouds," Group Leader Lorna Barrett said.
"Most days we walked from six to eight hours, returning in the evening to the Scout Hut for a shared evening meal cooked by the scouts, and relaxed with games and jigsaw puzzles."
