New stoves have students cooking up a storm

New stoves have students cooking up a storm

Woodbridge School has once again benefited from the generosity of the Kettering Social Club.
At the end of last year, it became apparent that the school would need additional stoves in the kitchen to accommodate the increased enrolment of 26 students into the new Grade 7 classes for 2019, when the kitchen was only equipped for 20.
After hearing about the situation Mr Peter Brooking (Jumbo), Amanda Crisp and other members of the Kettering Social Club stepped in, and not only paid for the purchase of two new stoves but also paid for the installation.
The students and their teacher Ms Cath Earnshaw are very grateful, as it has enabled each pair of students to have access to their own stove during lessons.
