Art prizes awarded

The Kingborough Art Prize Exhibition was held at the Kingston Beach Community Hall from Friday, February 14 until Sunday, February 16.

Exhibits were judged by an independent, professional judging panel with a prize of $1000 awarded to Terrence Gough for Best Overall Exhibit.

Prizes were also awarded for the Work on Paper category to Maggie Bullock, the Design/3D category to Brian Looker and the Painting category to Rick Crossland who each received $600.

The exhibition was curated by the Lions Club of Kingborough and was open to the public for viewing and sales with over 200 works submitted.

The Lions Club expressed their gratitude to the organisations and businesses that contributed to the Art Prize Exhibition and to the volunteers involved.
